07 Accord Sedan w/20's
Hey All,
I have an 07 Accord Sedan and am going to be putting 20x8.5" w/245/35/20 tires. What size does my offset need to be so my rear tires will not rub? Thank you for the help!

please dont put 20's on your accord...now if you drove an suv or something of that nature it would be ok..but please dont..I hate it when I see ppl put a nice import to waste with huge rims! Small is in! Big is out
Thank you for your opinion but that wasn't really what I asked for. I didnt buy an accord so it could be a fast and furious car! I bought it because I have a family and I was tired of my tahoe that got 14 miles to the gallon. BTW...it had 24's!
putting 20's on an accord will kill your gas mileage trust me I had 18's on mine and it killed it...but I if your going to I dont have the answer to your question sorry i was just giving my opinion..wasnt trying to be mean or anything
It's cool man! What size motor do you have? I have had several lowered vehicles and got tired of sacricing going places because I couldnt get my damn car in the parking lot. I am at a point in my life where I wanted to keep it clean and stock height w/20's. This is very realistically something I will never street! Who knows, maybe it will look like *** and you can say I told you so! Sorry for jumping your s---!
Well I am into big wheels, got the 22's on the wifes Denali and the past 3 SUV's. Matter of fact that is why I am steppin' into the tuner scene because with the wifes Denali that gets 12mpg and my Stang at 18-20mpg and my Wrangler at 12-14mpg (Depending on how windy it is) I get sorry mileage so I am selling the GT and getting a EX Coupe since I drive 50 miles one way to work. One of us has to get better mileage or we will go broke tryin' to get around.
Anyways, Post up pics once you get them on. I think if I remember correctly, the offset should be between 36mm and 40mm to fit. But I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong.

I would never get wheels that big, but leaving that question aside...
245/35-20 is MUCH too big for your car. Its outer diameter is over 5 percent larger than stock, so it will throw off your speedometer and odometer and it will almost certainly rub big time. And it will make your car accelerate slower (like putting in taller gears).
The 20" size you should be getting for a 2007 Accord is either 225/30-20 or 235/30-20. Both have an outer diameter within about 0.5 percent of stock. No speedo/odo problems, no rubbing, no acceleration deficit, no ride height difference.
