why dosemy rpm idel at 2grand when hot and 3-4grand when cold..

ok so i have a98 prelude and when its cold it idels at 3-4grand when its hot it idels at 2grand the thign u turn on throttle is all way down wich put it down to 2grand i cant figure out how 2 make it go any lower any ideas?

Search "Fast Idle Valve" and "Idle Air Control Valve". Then if your car idles rough, search "EGR valve .. solenoid " ........ Also try " vacuum leak ". A lot of info out there.
