ive got a 92 accord with an h22, ported and polished head , skunk 2 throttle body and intake manifold my prob is that when i give it some throttle down the road its like it wants 2 choke off and when i get off the gas it picks back up any ideas?

 

how is your A/F ratio?

 

that sounds like an ignition/spark problem. check the spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor, if you can rule those out, i would go a little farther to check fuel issues, like fuel pump, regulator, and injectors. i don't think it would be related to your intake. but then again you might have to give a few more details on the actual problem.

 

i just changed the plugs and runs alot better, but when i take off it like dies down a little but picks back up

 

maybe an EGR issue? it's always worth cleaning that out

 

but the thing about the skunk 2 intake manifold is that it doesnt have a spot for the egr valve just for the fast idle control valve
