Default Working on a new portfolio website... would like some feedback! (EYECANDY!)

http://www.jasonsiu.net/

Please check out my new work in progress and would love some feedback. Yes I know right now it takes forever to load - I am working on that aspect right now as a priority.

If anyone is really good with Flash and wouldn't mind helping me out with figuring out a few things I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

looks good, its hard to work with black but you pulled it off nicely i think, the noises are not neccesary in my opion. The navigation is nice and easy to use, i like the overall layout... sorry for that haha, just got done doing my website for school haha

Northern Cal somewhere... we were just driving around and stopped whenever we saw something nice.

So anyone good with Flash? I'm stumped with what to do with my gallery

nice layout, very clean...only thing i would add is the ability to enlarge your photos to ba abel to see the details in your photo's.

For the gallery, maybe more different types of photo's to show your range. like if you don't only shoot cars or even if you do. just try put in a wide range of photos, well more phot's cause your pictures are amazing anyways

on a side note, i like that you show your equipment. as an aspiring photographer myself, i always like to know what people more established are using

What you really need to do is return some of your voicemails. Instead of working on things like this. LOL Hey, Jason we are still waiting on when you got a chance. I'm lucky I didnt hold my breathe when you said you were going to let me know during Christmas break. But hit me up if your still interested. Thank again.

I'm actually working on the gallery part right now. I have over 40 photos I'd like on the site...but I don't want to add them until I figure out how to not embed the images. The flash is big enough already and there's so few photos.

Thanks for the comments, I'll look into editing the text size on my print resume - but I made a pdf available too for potential clients.

I landed the job out of pure luck... never went to school for photography, did it out of boredom!

Hahahaha man - I apologize. It's been hell for me and I'm actually not with Modified anymore

I'm on a freelance basis now, but I swear I'll hit you up when things settle down.

i'll keep it simple...

layout =
content =
info on site =

so yeah, overall i give it a
it's very easy to explore, the color scheme is very minimal but it works, it's not overdone like 95% of the sites i see that belong to automotive photographers. good job!

I would still fix the sizing of the details section or your resume. It is very small and hard to read. That is one of the major things that sells you to the prospective client.

I would also make the made picture or atleast the jasonsiu.net part clickable directing the person back to the main page.

Just a few ideas for you.

Yeah I just noticed that the details section of my resume pops up a different size/res on everyone else's computer. I'll be fixing that shortly, thanks!

visually, the site looks great; but I would work on optimizing the site for search.

Needs to be tagged, and possibly a blog to help search spiders index your site.
