Default New Fit, any ideas on performance enhancements?

Ok, just got mine yesterday, silver sport with MT. I have searched the net and quite honestly it's hard to tell what is real and what is hocus pocus. Essentially, I am looking for an ECM or chip to get more HP. I figured since the Fit was popular in Japan that someone would make one, any ideas? Also, any recommendations on an exhaust (quiet one) and induction cooler that would add HP and torque? Thanks in advance for the help and suggestions,

Utnorris

http://www.fitfreak.net

lots of tuners here and plenty of aftermarket support as well. turbo kits to S/C, coilovers, rims and tires, bodykits its all here and available.

good luck with your build.

in terms of a nice quite exhaust.....Spoon B-Pipe with Tanabe axle back. good performance and pleasent ride.

Congratulations on the new fit ..

If you want some simple bolt-ons you should pick up an intake and exhaust.

As for a quiet exhaust , go with a tanabe medallion touring with either a megan b-pipe or spoon b-pipe.

You can probably milk around 7-10 hp from an intake + exhaust setup.

I'm running just a full exhaust setup right now and I'm feeling some REAL gains in the lower and mid-range. It's also easier to go uphill now..

Is the Tanabe Medallion just an axle back? I really like the shape of the tail pipe on that set up. If I get a fit, I will definately go with the Tanabe Medallion. Also does anyone know if it's a quiet exhaust, the description says it's under 93db but I really don't know how loud that is lol!

The Tanabe is only axle back and yes it's quiet.
