FS: Rebuilt ex/si transmission with brand new SRR 4.7 Final Drive, brand new Synchros, and new Beari
This is a 1995 ex transmission with a brand new SRR 4.7 upgraded final drive installed. (stock is 4.25) The bearings have been replaced, and it has brand new synchros in it as well!
I purchased this transmission second hand, and have opted not to use it (I built a different gear ratio setup instead)The original builder worked at the Honda dealership and used OEM Honda parts.
The transmission has not been used since the rebuild and final drive were installed!
If you total the cost of this build, you will see that the buy it now is a steal!
SRR 4.7 Final Drive $500.00
New OEM Synchros $350-$400
New oem bearings $200 (yes! they are that much!)
ex transmission $250
Labor $500
The total would be $1500-$2000 depending on where you find your parts, and who does the labor.
Get your SOHC to move! I have a shorter ratio tranny on my SOHC VTEC, and it just absolutely wakes the car up. It responds at RPMs you never knew could be fun, not to mention much faster acceleration! Best performance mod I have done so far!
