im doing a couple of swaps for my buddies, n i was wondering which swaps i can get bard or smog.

1st swap - ls/vtec into 90 integra. obd2 ls block wit b16 head. im leaving it obd0, can i bar it or i have to use the obd0 b18a block?

2nd swap - 92 d16z6 into 90 ef. i converted it to obd1, can i still smog the car or i have to get it bard?

(we got alot of krooked *** ****** cops here)

 

LS/VTEC is a big no no. Here in cali at least, they do not like the mix and matching of heads. If you did it, you would have to do an LS swap, get that BAR'd then do the head swap.

 

so i can still get it bard if i use the b18b block in the 90 integra?

 

whatever swap you get id do what i can to get it BAR'd just makes things easier. i know there are such things as mobile smog check points nowadays. ive seen a cop just direct a car over because it looked modified or is of a considerable age. the mobile smog check point would do it right then and there.

 

what is a mobile smog check point? is dat where dey take a look at it b4 u go n do ne thing?
