Default Lets Mod my GSR

Ok guys i am new to this forum, and i just picked up a Red Acura Integra GSR, with only 22k on the body and motors, i bought it from an old guy from Chicago. Anyways, now that i have it i would like to do stuff to it to make it handle better, go faster, and look nicer, you know the usual. I have already done plugs and wires, and did a CAI from AEM, and have sitting at my house SKunk2 Shock, Springs, F&R Camber Kits, and Rear Lower Control Arms. What else should i put on it, recommendations for performance, tires, wheels, body, suspension, whatever, let me know, this can be as much your project as it is mine, i will keep you all updated too.

Yeah, sell a motor and put a turbo in its place.

Get a gt35r and boost it to 20 pounds. That will make good use of the suspension.

Trying to make power on a honda without a lot of money is almost pointless..
It wont be good power unless yuou spend a couple grand.

Dude a turbo is gonna MORE than pay for itself and you can get it done for under 1500 if you know where to spend your money.... it's totally worth it.. i've got 12 lbs going to my neptune tuned D16z6 civic and i'm walking from EVO's and STI's

then what you need to do is save up money to get your car boosted. spending money on other pointless mods just b/c they're cheaper isn't a good idea...save up to get something substantial that you'll be happy with.

Simple. Save your money. Go turbo. You simply cant compete against the new generation of Japanese sports cars and American muscle with noise makers.

Ah sweet, another thread about wanting power for little to no money. Let's pretend we live in the real world and realize it costs money to make power out of a 1.8L motor that is already tuned to the bleeding edge by a manufacturer.

i wouldnt go that far. remember honda wanted these engines to have a balance of power and low emmisions and gas mileage.

gt35r...lots of lag, I suggest the OP to build the motor first before dropping that huge gt35. Building that motor will help push enough airflow through to the gt35 to make it spool faster. But when its going it gets going!

I think that guy was joking with the gt35r and 20 lbs of boost comment.

the lag on a gt35r isnt bad. full boost by 4500-5000 depending on trim and engine mods.

x2..or a GT28r, really good spool and hp, and with the long rpm range of b-series motors, you can definitely squeeze a lot from that turbo with the right setup.

true, but you would need good and strong mods, and even better tuning to get it fully boosting at a lower rpm range. Havent driven a honda w/turbo, but I do have a german boosted car. Different motors entirely different vehicle
