95 GSR OVER HEATING!!
here is the situation. I have a 95 gsr, just put new head gasket, different block, and still haveing same issue.
Ever sence iv owned the car (5) months, i have had a bog issue. From 1k till 5k v-tec its a dogg. After v-tec its hold on for dear life. The car has 200psi compression, and idels helthy. Both my timing's was set right by Acura here in salem. My cluster gauge always says my heat is in the middle, wich is when my fans finlay kick on.... i would beleave is okay? I have removed the Therm. and run 50/50 fluid. I have changed my sensor thats on my water jacket and had no change in proformance.
My car dose run fine, an pepy when it first starts up like any other B18C1. But once it reaches the middle of my Temp gauge...it gets WAY sluggish. Even bogs, but never cuts out.
I need some info from some HT experts. Im truly stumped.
QUESTIONS-
1) where is the relay located?
2)is there any other sensor's that would trigger the fan to kick on earler & where?
3)Dose this sound like the motor is simply over heating?
4)Should i replace my head gaskit, reserface my head?
I think my valve guids might be going out b/c it dose bun a little oil, and will be replaceing them soon. BUT i have had this same head on a different block and had the same issue sence i bought the car. Can anyone shedd some light on this problem?

I have some more questions, like could having the wrong distributor maybe cause my car to run like this?
Again, my motor feels like it falls on its face from 1k to 4k.

What about advancing my timeing? Wich way do i turn it to advance?

maybe the block has bad cylinder walls or cracked?? did you install head gasket the correct way? but from what i remember my integra temp. was about at half way. the bogging could be running rich or bad timing?
I had the same problem but i didnt replace the cylinder head gasket yet im not sure if theres a crack i have to go to the machine shop for them to check it. oh yah one thing i went to a mechanic he said the bad cylinder gasket and the something about the cooling system
