I like to look at the o2 sensors to tell but there are man other ways...

OBD0- 1 wire o2 sensor
OBD1 - multiple wire o2 sensor
0BD2 - mulitiple o2 sensors

You may want to consider a B20 swap. Less money and more torque. You would
have to invest alot of money to get the extra HP out of the B16 and your torque
would still be low. Your also putting the B16 into a heavier car. Some people
are also having good luck with B18 motors with mild builds. Good Luck!

Why would he want to consider a b20 swap? Its a bigger motor but only has 6ftlbs more torque and is known for its weak sleves.

hmmm guess it depends on where u get the motor. but most of the time u would find a b20 swap cheaper then a b16. also its more than 6lbs of torque between the b16 and b20. b20 has 133 and the b16 has about 111-118. depending on which b16 u have. anyway not here to argue just wanted to point that out.

that's where a good tune comes in. the sleeves tend to crack because of detonation or if they're just in bad shape to begin with.

a b20 would be much better in an integra than a b16. b16's are incredibly overhyped. yeah i said it.

Overhyped? They were the first motor to obtain 100hp per liter they are nice motors and will last forever if treated right. Of course there are better motors out there but for the price a b16 isnt bad and its just as slow as an ls motor.

you can tell the year by the head #'s and block serial
post those

and a b20 does not make the same torque as a b16..lol maybe close stock peak, but area under the curve is much more important.

b16 is nice, but is lost cause if you want to go all motor...

rather be head of mouse or tail of lion?? aarrrgghh
