I have a '95 Integra and the door lock is stuck in the lock position. I try to manually switch it but it wont budge. I took off the bezel around the door handle and tried to move the rod manually but it doesn't switch like it should to unlock, it just stuck. Ive searched but nobody said how they got it to unlock. I have JDM ITR door panels and really don't want to cut them and it isn't possible to take them off with the door closed. any help would be appreciated.
Since you want to not damage the JDM ITR door panels, these are some ideas I have (nothing proven):
1. If it is power door lock, try messing with the switch to get the actuator motor to move.
2. Insert key to try to get lock actuator to release.
3. Try using something like a thin rod or slim-jim , inserted between the window and door panel, near the actuator latch mechanism (this is near the outer door edge), and push down on the latch mechanism to release.
The latch assembly has vertical rods, which connect to the inner handle rod you were trying to move (which runs horizontal). The vertical rods move up and down (up when locked, down when unlocked). If you can somehow push down on the vertical rods or the lever the vertical rods are attached, it should unlock.

I talked to a friend of mine who works for honda and he said to take the door panel off and it is possible with the door closed. Have any of you been able to do this and if so are there any tricks i need to know. I called a lock smith but he wasnt able to get it. Any help would be appreciated.
