Default ---how to take off my spoiler----

i have a DA and i want to take off my spoiler myself so i was just wondering if someone could tell me how.. and once i do, what do i plug up the holes with?

hammer and chisel........then grind down the holes and weld them, some bondo, sand sand sand.......primer primer, sand with 400 grit, then primer with heavy coat....then some more 400 then base coat, then 1200grit, then clear coat.......

and then buff....and glaze and your done unless you did it wrong.....follow directions carefully!

IMO, you should just leave it be. I actually don't mind the g2's with stock spoilers. But anyway, the spoiler should unbolt from underneath the hatch (or atleast thats how they're mounted in G3's) and Kragen carries plugs that should plug up the mounting holes.

There should be four bolts holding it on. You'll be able to see them when you open the hatch. You can plug the holes up with rubber grommets from home depot or something.

caps look ghetto. don't take it off unless you're willing to spend the $ to get the holes welded and the hatch repainted.

the tail is bolted on..just unbolt them off...and for the holes..dent them in with a hammer (a lil) then lay it over with bondo

hope you weld the holes before sticking that bondo in there. otherwise it's garaunteed to crack.
