OBX high flow cat? Are they any good? Do they break alot?

 

I will first start by saying that I do not know of the OBX Cat. However... I would put money that anything made by OBX is crap.

They're a crappy company with no waranty on their produts. I dealt with them when an item I bought from them broke. They do not deal with customers directly, only distributors. The distributor I bought the product from couldn't help me, so I managed to get ahold of OBX directly. The person I spoke to was incredibly rude, and said there was absoutly nothing he could do for me. I understand his point of not being to help a consumer directly, but his attidute and rudeness totally turned me off. I will never buy another OBX product again, and will never recommend a product to anyone.

Having said that, I need a .

 

finnally ur asking questions b4 u buy.....jeeeeeez. if u would've always done that u would've saved urself a lot of trouble.

I would never put anything made by OBX on my ITR.

 

sorry to hear about your bad luck with OBX reefer...I didn't think OBX was good but I was just making sure. I'm having a hard time on deciding what cat to get...I don't want carsound having heard many bad things about them also. It will be bolting up to my DC JDM 4-1. Any suggestions? And thats all you need to know....if price matters get a test pipe

 

carsound and random tech are the SAME thing inside... probably made of parts manufactured by the same company. Go with the Carsound or the Random Tech, either way you can't go wrong.

 

oh, and yeah, OBX is PURE $HIT

 

Did you know that the OBX high flow cat is the best as far as their Catalyst material? It will not melt like the other highflow cats out there, because they dont use any Catalyst material at all.


The OBX "High Flow Cat" is their fancy name for a resonated test pipe. LOL
