Any insight on the Engery Suspension Kit for a CRX???
I contemplating on ordering this kit for my Crx Si. I was wondering if any one has used the kit before and how it performed, also is there any alternatives or recommendation on other products. What's the difference between the red and black kit? Here's the link from Summit - is this the best price? Thanks

well I guess i'm not going with poly bushings after reading all the negative stuff about them. Anyone know were I can get a OEM kit from without having to peice it all together from Majstic Honda?
ive had the energy suspension kit in my DD for 2.5 years now running fine. the suspension feels much more crisp and predicatble imo. 1-2 year lifespan is a bit farfetched.
the difference between the energy suspension kit and the prothane kit is that the prothane kit comes with the metal rings rather than just the bushing. with the energy suspension kit you have to remove the metal rings from the stock bushings and reuse them.. so if its worth the 100 bucks to you for less work then go prothane.. other than that its the same basic kit.
the whole binding issue is debatable.. really the only bushings that might cause binding issues are the rear trailing arm bushings. (which arent included in the master kit anyway). so replace that bushing with stock if you so desire.
as far as the noise issue.. i havent really noticed much difference.. but replacing any 14 year old bushings will be an improvement. as long as you grease them properly before installing them you should have no problems. I i reccomend using marine grease that you can get at an autoparts store. If you really want to increase the longevity of the bushings you can take extra step to drill the control arms and install zerk fittings to grease them whenever you do an oil change.
all the issues listed above can be solved by a proper install... just my 2 cents. if you have anymore questions just pm me

when i ordered my energy suspension master kit, it came with all new metal sleeves.
they must have added that in there due to complaints. i ordered mine less than a year ago. its possible back then they didn't include them.
