So I went to drive my car today and the shifter would not really go into gear at all. I had to basically try and pull really hard and decided not to try and force it, so i just turned off the car. The clutch pedal seems really "soft" so to speak and I was just wondering if you all thought it was my clutch or something bigger like the transmission.

 

Was the car running when you tried forcing it into gear? Did it grind? Did you check the clutch fluid and tranny fluid?

 

The car was running, and there was no grinding, it just wouldnt go into gear smoothly at all. I am about to go check all of my fluids now.
