Default NOVA - FS: B16 Turbo Full Swap Engine/Tranny

Worked B16 turbo swap for sale from a wrecked EG Civic. This is the turbo kit (though I think an older version)

teg at djii dot com is my email

http://www.passwordjdm.com/product.a...For=&PT_ID=428

NEW PRICES!

$1000 for Motor, and complete turbo kit.
$1400 for Motor, and complete turbo kit and LS transmission.

Add $250 if you want the moroso pan (turns out it cost more than I remembered).

The only swapping I might do at this point is for some decent WRX/STI parts of equivalent value. I'm selling this because my civic is fast enough AND I'm trying to finance more parts purchases for my WRX.

Engine was pulled from a wrecked EG that had hit a telephone pole but, did no front end damage. It ran strong (too strong maybe) before and after the wreck. It's a worked JDM OBD1 B16A with eagle rods AND Arias forged pistons. The pan is currently off so, any potential buyer can see the innerds of the engine before purchase. It'll take 10 minutes to install the pan.

Motor comes with complete intercooler and tubes for an EG civic. The BOV is an HKS. The wastegate is turbonetics and has a 7 lb spring.

Downpipe (though it's cracked). I think I cracked it when I yanked the motor.

ECU, MSD Ignition with 2 step REV limit and VAFC

The head is a PR3-4 from an 00 SI. It's the same head casting as a Type-R

It comes with RC 440 injectors, clutch, starter, B series rear bracket and everything else to bolt into a EG/EK civic. Complete EG wiring harness is included. EK might need to change the front mount.

The Moroso pan is optional. It's $200 is you want to keep it or you get the stock pan. Both will work with the turbo. You get both pans if you pay for the Moroso.

It has a Hondate gasket installed with extended studs on the intake side and the pan is also held on with a stud kit.

Here's the engine

The turbo has some up and down play but, no in and out.

PM me for any more details.

Yes, my garage is a mess.

Bump.

If anyone wants other pictures, like under the valve cover let me know. You could eat off the valves they're so clean.

Someone's already asked me about making payments. I have no problem with payments but, I'll keep it till you pay it off.

I'm willing to seperate the motor from the turbo stuff.

$1000 for the motor alone.

Bump.

It's OBO but, don't go crazy. I'm going to yank the pan and windage tray and see what I can see.

Pulled the pan.

The rods are Eagle with ARP 2000 rod bolts. The Pistons are Forged ARIAS pistons. I'll punch up some pictures in the morning.

It has oil squirters and the rods have oiling holes that spray oil on the cylinder walls. Looks like it's even better than I thought it was.

I'll leave the pan and windage tray off for now in case someone want to inspect it.

Replied.

Basically what I said to him is $1000 gets you the motor because it's worth that and I'm throwing all the extra parts in for free

First $1000 gets it all (but not the tranny or Moroso pan).

Great deal. I hope you're around if my motor ever blows. I had a built b16 as well... but I'm a bit scared to slap a turbo on it.

If you're talking to me Kevin, I totalled my R at summit point 2-3 years ago. I've been driving an R-swapped EK at the track since then.

I'm not actually sure how many miles there are. The build looks pretty fresh. The pan was clean and the valve train could be eaten off of.

The original plan was to put this motor in my EK for track use but, I don't think it would be reliable enough. I'm already running on the edge of overheating with my R swap and race radiator (I run the heater on track). I also have a WRX now so, I don't really need two turbo motors.

Not willing to seperate though that depends on the offer. How much will you give me for the turbo parts? It might actually be cheaper for you to buy the whole thing for $1000 then sell the engine. I'm just looking for money to buy WRX parts.

I'm answering every PM I see. I hate HT's PM system. I'm not sure I'm seeing them all. You're better off emailing me at "teg@djii.com"

It's been picked up, along with a ton of other honda parts I had sitting in my shed.

Still have the pan. $250, which is a steal.
