Okay here is the deal i recently got married and I am leaving for japan should be there for one or two years...now the r can sit (who knows what will happen to it) or i could sell it.....however its a hard decision...i love this car sooo much and i cant image i could let it go to just anyone.....

car is a 2000 has a fully built turbo engine 30k on engine...50k on chasis..
everything else stock . oh except the front end (of course)

what is a good asking price?

Since you love the caR so much I'd look into secure storage for the time your away. Either personal garage or rental. Then just do a lot to heR to prevent theft. Maybe remove seats and armrest and store elsewhere, etc... Definitely try to keep heR.
EDIT: It'll be hard to find a good home for heR on short notice if you decide to sell...

 

thanks for the input....the car has a clifford alarm and would definetly be garage kept


but if its sitting so long..what can happen mechanically wise..is there anything i sould do if it does sit for over a year...??

the power isn't the hype, it's everything else, but yeah...

if you can afford to get a badass car while you're in japan, then keep her. store her up and she'll be here when you get back. or you could sell her, and get something really cool over there, etc...

if I sold my R i'd feel like something real special was gone. anytime i wanna go play, she's ready. most cars can't give you that, and nothing rival's the R for something you can buy all day long for $14k now, i'm sorry.

I'd say store her if you have the funds

Hey, I've already got parts for the car I don't even have yet. I'm sticking to the CT one for sure and will be going up not this weekend but next. I was going to go see this one, since it's close so that I could vouche for it since he's a new user, thus HELPING ALL YOU OTHER FOOLS!!!

Nah, it's for all of the others out there, with or without an ITR that are looking for one. I know how it was for me when looking for a black JDM fronted ITR.

yeah im def gonna pick up a car over there....last time i was there my father in law taught me how to drive in tokyo (07 audi a4 avant 1.8t) pretty nice car he had it lowered on neuspeed sports go figure the dealerships will do anything for a sale.....when i was there i saw a mint 22b impreza...it was quit a vision

i have tought about selling mine , but then i think what else would i buy ? and nothing comes to mind. store it if possible and don`t tell anyone where it is.
