Default Jackstand Head too deep for my integra

My jackstand V head at the top is too deep for the jack points metal flaps behind the front wheels and in front of the rear wheels....the jack stands end up holding the car up by the sideskrts and the metal flap is not acutally being touched or supported by the V.

i use michelin by the way.....where else can i put the jack stands when lifting the car?

put it somewhere where it looks strong and where the car wont tip and fall on you and it will be alright...

there are 2 tow hooks in the front that you can use, or put a small 2x4 on top of the jack stand the lower the car onto them

use the tow hooks or as somebody stated, turn the stands in such a way so that the jack point does not go into the V but rather across it -- just be safe about it and make sure it's solid.

turning it is too unstable...it can easily slip if someone decides to climb in and out of it...there are plenty of places underneath where you can put stands...its really not this hard guys...

x2, just turn the jackstands sideways instead of puting the pinch weld in the v. Ive done this plently of time and it has worked well for me.

Get different jack stands and don't compromise your safety.

Use the chassis or buy new jackstands. Don't get the SUV ones this time.
