Frame damage... Fixable?
I got in a little accident, and I have some damage to the frame right behind the radiator support. The damage is about the same on both sides. Anyways, what would be the best way to fix this? I could either replace that frame part and weld in a new one, or take it to a frame shop. Is this something a frame shop could easily fix? Just how strait would they be able to get it? Any estimates on cost? Thanks!

No I dont feel like pulling it out from a tree, No I'd rather not chop and weld, and yes I'm planning a jdm front-end... Now does anyone have some serious advice or experience that could be useful to me? Is this something a frame shop could handle without too much trouble?

haha calm down doggie...anything is possible if you have the money...it is something the fram shop can handle but i dont know how much chopping and cutting they will do...they will try and straighten it out but working with mangled metal isnt as desireable as working with a bowed frame like they are experienced with...
the only real assessment i can make for you is to take it in and see...i do things myself so i dont know how much somthing like that costs...the cost of labor always is never worth it for me if i can buy the tools and do it myself...

The answer is no, thats not easily fixable. You can cut and weld, but as far as untangling that mess.....not so much. Unless its a Type R, its likely totalled out if you have insurance.
a frame shop could prob do it. i wrecked my da about three weeks ago and the passenger front corner looked somethin like your does. my grandpa used to do some stuff with auto body repair and we were able to pull it out and straighten it.

its not impossible, it jus may take a bit of money unless you know someone who can hook you up.

You could straighten that, but it will lose much strength and will be wrinkled. If the damage is isolated to the pictured section, they can cut and weld a new piece into there.
Here is a diagram. You may be limited to part 12. It costs about $70.

The JDM front should cover part 10.
