Default What engines you guys putting into these Fits?

Hey Fit enthusiasts!
I'm new to this part of the forum and just curious about Fits.
What engines are the most common swaps to these cars?
Doesn't seem like these cars could be fast with the stock engine even turboed so I figured there are some popular swaps.

In the next few years the K series engines will be the most common swap into the FIT.

I guess we will see what kinda of hoops we have to jump though in Cali to get the swap street legal

this will be just like it was years ago swapping out the d series with the B series.

If it's possible to make a legal K swap into a 5G Civic, then it should be possible to do the same in a Fit as long as everything fits.

The K is newer than the Civic so that's why it's legal.

Of course. But there are also K-series that are newer than the Fit. They just might be more difficult to find than the more plentiful older K-series.

And honestly, not all states require the engine swap to be the same year or newer than the car. One guy in another thread I was recently reading said that in CA a '96 D16Y8 could be swapped into a '98 EX because it "is the same engine". I quoted what the site about California law said, but he told me I was filtering it as though I was misreading it. So maybe he's right... but I don't think so.
