I just did a 96 ls swap into my 97 civic.. I think we are using a 97 DX harness. We got pretty much all of the sensors hooked up except for the idle control valve above the manifold, and some other manifold sensor on the manifold. We can't find the plugs on the harness. If you guys are in or around the Bonita/Chula Vista area and you're a techy with wiring, please contact me. If anyone can help out it would be greatly appreciated. Car starts up but does not keep idle. Dies. Like i said before the idle control valve sensor is not hooked up neither is the other intake mani sensor. What route can i take? Thanks guys.

 

i think that your harness has a 3 wire IAC so you would need to switch that into a 2 wire...get a wireing diagram and look for the idle control for a civic
