how do i clear it and get rid of that ****... it came on originally because my engine light came on cause of some code saying (low cat efficiency) so i replaced the cat and the shop cleared the check engine light. But my Maint Req light is still on and im going to B.A.R. so i have to have no lights on my dash

FYI

The maintenance required light comes on at set mileage intervals, has nothing to do with the CEL.

 

well iono whats going on cuzz when i searched it came up with nothing...so anyone got some real answers for me ?

 

nvm now i found it... i was lookin under recent instead of archived...

 

Under the dash on the driver's side there is a blue pushbutton. With the car running
push the button until the Maint req'd light goes out. I read where it comes on every
8000 miles.
