Default WHERE IS SOMEWHERE I CAN HAVE MY H22 WORK ON???

im buying a silver 95' prelude with a h22a in it.

the honda dealer in the next town over wont even look at it since it has the h22 in it.

is their anyone that i can try to talk to about looking at it...

(the problem is something with the timing..)
we still need to check the firing order of the spark plugs

Well then that dealer is garbage. H22 is nothing special ,hell the K series motor is more complex and even it's not hard to work on.

Is it a factory 1995 VTEC (they made those, right?)? If it is not a swapped vehicle I'd call Honda America and ask them why a franchised Honda dealer, who sells Honda Certified vehicles, is refusing to work on your stock Honda?

If it is a swap I'd say good luck. I wouldn't touch another persons project car for a million dollars. Too many things could have been done wrong and there's too much liability if something that was poorly put together(by someone else) breaks after I fixed something completely non-related.


edit: Well, maybe I'd do it for a million dollars. But definitely not for parts and labor.

2) use it

you should probably read some of the helms service manual. Or just scroll the FAQ, you sound like a newb.
