Default Cel 43 - Fuel Supply System - 95 Coupe - Need help!

morning h-t, ive got an issue. i recently rear-ended someone. had to replace my radiator support & my o2 sensor either broke (cel 41) because of that or because it was time. all is replaced now. had to re-thread the bung hole for the o2 sensor. got my car back and after driving it about 20 miles i got cel 43. i went home immediatly and looked for solutions. not much luck. the problem was gone the next day. i barely drove the car over the weekend and only after driving it for a while do i get cel 43. the car doesnt seem to start as strong as it used to, still idles beautifully. performance doesnt seem to be effected.

i did however notice a smell over these past few days. almost like gas but not quite. defintially a new smell coming from the bay. any help is appreciated. thanks in advance

wait, searched it lol.

the search function is tricky, you can't just straight up search because you probably will get very little to no hits.

you must make sure you select 'archived' threads on the right side. then wow, there's so much info on everything haha

Good luck bud. I've been researching this for months. Care to guess how I found this thread? There are simple fixes, but none have worked for me. Maybe you'll get lucky.

Are you using a Bosch O2 or Denso/NTK/etc?

I don't know if this will help anyone else here or not, but like I said I've been dealing with this for a long, long time and haven't had much luck. Well, recently I filled my tank completely full (a rarity these days I know) and didn't see this code until I had used about 1/4 tank. Not entirely sure what this means though. Especially since this same engine was giving the same code in another car just months ago before it was swapped.

Once again, empty tank = code 43. Full tank = No code.
