i got a 1993 honda civic coupe with a turbo gsr b18c1 swap done to it and i got it out of storage and it idles fine but no vtec and it seems like its really hestiat all the way through the power band and it back fires and just seems like its plugged up and running really rich my check engine is on i got a vafc controller but i play with it and it just dosent seem to do anything any ideas

 

Check the plugs, rotor, cap, wires. <--- small tune up since it has been sitting.
