I was wondering if some of you ITR owners could tell me how the USDM ITR struts compare to say tokico blues or some other aftermarkets struts which are not to gung ho. The reason I am asking is I was thinknig of replacing my worn tokico blues with my freind ITR struts, whic have about 25K on them. Any help would be appreciated.

 

I don't have exact figures but awhile ago, someone posted dyno plots of stock vs. tokico Illuminas, vs koni's ( don't know which) and the ITR shock came out above all .... easily. Compression was somewhat close on some of them but the ITR shocks pretty much kicked **** in rebound dampening.

I wish I could find that site.

I'd personally rather have stock ITR shocks than Tokico blues. I would take Konis or Tokico Illumnias over the stock ITR shocks, though.

 

sweet thanks for the response. I wont be doing any AutoX or anything. I mean the R was built for the track right? So I was assuming it had some pretty damn decent struts! Thanks

not kidding ..... man I **** you not. It was posted on this board ways back. I was considering going the tokico route but once I saw the dyno sheet, it changed my mind.

I've got to ask around ..... someone must have the chart.
