4th gen to 5th gen front end conv. questions
has anyone ever seen a 4th gen lude with a 5th gen front end? i have a 92 and id like to put the newer lights on it. if i get the fenders hood bumper and lights will it be easy to do it?
no but if seen a 5th with 4th gen lights. its all going to be a lot of custom work and money. it can be done just not easily
ahahaha 5th gens are sexier...
. Anyway... yea it would be some custom work. People think its hard to do headlight conversion but it really isnt if the lights are of similar shape. See... whats gunna happen is; 5th gen lights are taller and would prob have to sit lower on a 4th gen to match with the hood. Then the custom work would just be molding. However, you will most likely end up having to buy a hood, fenders, lights etc. The snout of the 5th gen is longer too so the cutout for the wheel well might be off. Its just too much custom work man. Keep the 4th gen lights.

why would you ever consider doing something like that the 4th gen is a way better car like im thinking of doing a RHD conversion... that is reasonable but a front end conversion, seriously why dont u just put ford emblems on it and call it a ford fusion

Dude get some knowledge. The WHOLE front end will have to be custom fitted, headlights, front bumper, front quarter panels, the mount points for the bumper and quarter panels will all be custom. There ain't no car same series or not where you can just swap "similar" headlights and "maybe" a hood and thing it's going to work. It will all be custom.
