Whats up guys. its been a good while since ive posted so any help will be much appreciated.
tonite while driving very slowly and milliseconds from pulling into a parking spot i hear what sounds like im driving over something and then i am jolted to a stop.

i get out thinking ive must have hit a cone that came out of nowhere..this is what the initial sound i hear instantly makes me a think although very brief cause i was already coming to a stop while this happened.

the car will run fine, rev freely , go into gear and will move about 2 feet forward or backwards until stopping. it will do this in neutral or with clutch in and vise versa. there are no visible signs of tearing on the boot or seperation that i have seen yet.

any clues. anything to look for?

sorry for such a long post but want to be as descriptive as possible...

 

the car will only move 2 feet forward and reverse then stop? if dragged the wheels wont turn?
sounds like the diff pin came out.
may have to pull the trans out.

 

wheels will NOT roll if car is dragged. transmission is an `01 b16 hyrdro 100kish

Did you put the car up in the air and check if anything came off? Could be that your lower ball joint gave out, or your brake caliper. Lift the car up and take off the wheels and check whats going on.
