looking for new rotor and pad recommendations
my rear pads always seem fine but front are like their they are oem want to upgrade to obx drilled and slooted rotor and the red stuff pads should i just do for front want to see peoples opinions thanks
what kind of rotors if any if you huys have thoughts on brands also but umm well **** should i also replace the rear or i could put on some new oem on reaer and just upgrade the fronts
if I were you id stick to all OEM brakes..drilled and slotted rotors are pointless unless your producing a lot of HP..if you really want drilled and slotted rotors...Id just do the front first because thats where like 83% of your braking is.

i agree get the blanks. If you get drilled and slotted rotors u will just have a big headache. I have seen way too many of these come in with cracks on the rotors

I have ran Brembo drilled rotors over the years with great succes, as far as pads go I would be more concerned about "what" they are made out of rather than "who" makes them..a little trial and error is a good way to find out whats right for you -good luck
All I'm saying is that good rotors should NOT crack if properly broken in. Following the wear-in procedure allows the metal of the rotor to "temper" or harden over a few hundred miles. If not followed correctly, they will get too hot and warp immediately due to the soft nature of the steel right out of the box.
Also, drilled and slotted rotors will not help you stop quicker in the sense that you are thinking they will. They will cool off quicker and resist heat, which will in turn fend off brake fade and keep them working properly at higher operating temperatures. (which in a sense, will help you stop efficiently everytime instead of the first few times only) Now, BIGGER rotors WILL help you stop quicker.

Because people who buy Ferrari's can afford the high cost of turning drilled rotors, and I bet they are better quality than what you will get for an Accord.
cheaper alternative to the stock rotors and the material they use is better i think? dunno but brembo blanks and hawk hp good combo...but it really comes down to what kind of driving your into

jackass.
The drilled rotors seen on the Ferrari's are cast with the holes.
Normal drilled rotors are blanks that have been drilled, which is why they are weak and crack under heat.
BTW. When installing any OBX part, there is a good chance it isn't an "upgrade"

I also run Brembo blanks. Brembo doesn't sell drilled/slotted rotors out of their factory. They are ALL BLANKS. What these shops do is get Brembos and machine them w/ slots/holes/dimples.

You can get Brembo blanks from Nopionline.com or you used to could anyway. I think they were like $35 or something I'm not sure what the OEM ones are but the Brembo's were fairly cheap and I like them.
