Default value of a motor and shell.

My brother in law's integra was stripped in front of his apartment complex last friday. They stole the seats, door panel's, cluster, ecu and radio. They left the motor and body in perfect shape. What he was wanting to know is what he can get for the motor and shell? Its a 2000 yellow type r with 38,xxx miles on the motor. thanks for everyones help.

Is the shell in good condition? YOU are better off selling the shell and the engine seperate.

if he's smart he won't even go through insurance, he runs the risk of it having a theft recovery title.... granted he'll have to pay out of pocket for replacing parts but at least he'll still have a PY with under 40k on it, clean title.....

can anybody say 19k resale value, put it in storage and you'll get much more 5 years down the road.

so its clean title? why not just put like 1200 dollars into replacing the seats, door panels, cluster and radio and then sell it for 15+g's, or you could sell as is for atleast 10g's, sorry all you folks that want to buy it from the insurance company for like 2000 bucks
