Timing belt help
I cant get the damned crank pulley bolt out...timing belt snapped, sent a friend to the hospital for stitches and I still haven't gotten it out...How do you hold it in place?
Take it from me, I spent almost a month trying to get my crank bold off. I bought an air compressor, various tools, tested many different impact wrenches. NOTHING got it off.
Except for this thing. I don't know what year Prelude you have, but mine is a 1998 with the H22 engine.

You can find them on e-bay or tooltopia.com or various other places for about $25-$30 bucks. I kid you not, don't waste your time with other things. Order one right now and you will thank me later. Also get yourself some long breaker bars or hollow pipes. Put the tool on the pulley and use a breaker bar and wedge the bar against the ground. Put the socket on the bolt and use the other breaker bar with the hollow pipe and just give it force. It took me 15 minutes of pressure on the bolt till it got loose.
