Ok just got me some DC header and was wondering if its ok to run the car with out the cat...??? Will it throw a code...???

it wont throw a code.... i did the same but wit ebay headers

 

cool, I thought it was gonna throw a code because my stock header had a O2 senser before the cat and after the cat

just ma sure u get o2 sensor extended, thats what i did it only cost me like $20

I'm pretty sure you will throw a code. When I installed a header on my HX, which has the same stock exhaust manifold as the y7, it ran for a few minutes without a CEL. But then one came on. It was for the second o2 sensor.

Your car should run fine as long as the first o2 sensor is hooked up. But you'll still have the CEL.

 

thats strange i didnt get the cel and i was driving likr that for 3 days
