I was in FL this past weekend for a wedding and we took a small excursion out to Amelia Island. I passed by a PY ITR with Mugen Exhaust and MF10's...license plate featured the word "MUGEN" (appropriately named). Just wondering if this belonged to anyone on the boards?

</TD></TR></TABLE> who cares? It's a $17,000 car... you guys act as if it were some type of Ferrari that Insurance won't take care of. I mean yea, I have love for the car, but as soon as you turn an object into a figure in your life, thats a little more than an obsession. I could go into Mira mesa (san diego) right now and find 3 type-r's roaming the streets and snag their license plates if I really wanted to. This guy didn't give any location or any other specifics on where EXACTLY that vehicle parks, be nice, it's not like he was out to have this innocent "MUGEN" type-r jacked, he just wanted to say hello, and compliment on his car.

Thank you
...the only useful response in the whole thread.
In response to all the hating for the license plate...get over it. I'm sure the owners car gets far more "exposure" sitting in the parking lot of a shopping mall (or in front of his house) than in a little thread on honda-tech.com
I've personally had my car stolen TWICE and I can guarantee you it wasnt because someone talked about it on the internet

Leave him alone about the plate.... I mean the owner went out of his way to get a plate that could be quickly read and stood out in anybody's mind if they saw it... He's obviously not worried so none of you should be.
It'd be different if he said "I see a PY ITR parked every night from 6-12pm at the corner of 51st and 3rd with the plate TRG-4831, who's is it, lol"

heres a useful response. I can guarantee you that I have had countless people talk to me at local car shows and hang outs and random PMs on here from people I dont know that "saw my car and it was mad tight I think you know my boy we should hang out sometime son!". Im not saying you went over the line with giving the info that you did because it wasnt exact details. yeah the car gets seen every day by many people. but a place like HT is a CENTRAL location for all these ***** to find our **** and try to take it. and now that we know he is a member here he can be scoped out rather easily. this is all dependent on where you live and what you post. regardless if its a 17000 car or 100,000 car people still put a lot of money and effort into these things and to most of us its more than just a car. yeah we have insurance but its a pain in the *** to deal with theft as Im sure you know (as do I, twice).

How can monetary value justify what your saying? I mean, sure is a Ferrari worth more money? Yeah, but I still think I'd rather have the car I put blood, sweat, tears and curse words into much more than "oh, look at me, I bought a Ferrari" Give me a break with that ****!!!
I'd like to get in contact with the owner though, I'm in FL and we have ITR only meets down here, maybe we could invite him.

Aren't you going to the NE Memorial day weekend event? How about the Turkey day one with Rob? Yeah... STFU... and go check your tire pressure!!!
Yes, we don't want non ITR's there with the exception of previous owners. Marc aka the Realtor is always welcome along with a few others down here. Getting them to actually show, now that's a whole nother story.
