Default SOHC VTEC

I found a sohc vtec engine on ebay it is for a honda accord 98-01 and it is 2.3L and my Honda Prelude is a 2.2L and its a F22A1 and this engine is a F23A, could i do an engine swap? sorry if its a noob question i just started working on cars! and if it's not, can you get a SOHC VTEC for a 92-96 honda prelude?

Yes, you can swap it right in, if you get your hands on the proper harness and ECU, or convert the F23 to OBDI
