Default 92' Prelude

Hi,
i just got me a 1992 honda prelude. i want to know how to gain hp without having to take the car to a shop. i just installed a Weapon R Secret weapon air intake. but i'm looking for more power gain without having to change the pistons, rods, valves, ect... A friend of mine told me about this Venom 400 module and the oversized Alternator and power steering will make more hp. i'm still not convinced this few parts will make noticable changes in my car performance. I'm new to Honda cars and engines. Please help.

Oversised alternator and P.S. WILL NOT give you HP. Start from Intake/ header/ exhaust. If your not willing to build your engine, then swap it for an H22 if you dont have that already.

dont change alternator or ps. add a header and an exhaust. and theres also a link in the prelude essentials that explains more things that you can do. but for now get an intake header and exhaust.

You could always try NOS.

Ok. also i noticed when my engine is running if i open the engine oil cap the rpms slow down and air feels coming from the engine. do i need to rebuild or is it normal. Also which would be a good brand for headers?

Read the FAQs: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/689805 Do some reading on what types of things you'll have to do to make good power, it's not easy.

There are no good headers for the H23...not many people try to make NA power on them.
