This was the first track event that I had the please of going to and let me tell you, it was all that. I wanted to get a feel for what tracking my R would be like and I am officially hooked. You never really know or appreciate how well these cars were built until you do a track or autocross event. I want to say thanks to all the guys that I had the pleasure of driving with, all of you guys rocked, Thank you Ed, Wai, Matt, Mike, Wes, Jeff (although it was a short trip ), Kingmotorsport car!!! A Big thanks to Jeff and Jim for taking me along with them. Sorry about all the problems that came up Jeff..next time it will be different! (We will just have more parts . It was great meeting all of you and I hope I will see you all on the track sometime in the near future! ON WITH THE PICS!!

Just to set the record straight - even though Takumi was the official dog of ITR Expo 2002, he was not the only dog present at the event. One of the Viper owners that was there on Monday brought an airedale terrier named Hennessey to the event. Unlike Takumi, Hennessey kisses and does not bite.

Actually there were 2 more dogs there. I dunno who brought them, but they were unleashed and dorking around the paddock area and harassing Takumi.

Yes, but the E46 starts out with a huge weight disadvantage, and that disadvantage got even worse when the drivers got in the cars...

 

LMAO! Yeah, so did the brand new Porsche 911 TT at the track event I was at Monday. hehe. He was pussyfooting it the whole way.

Actually the best depiction of getting owned was when I took my $900 86 CRX to an autocross and clobbered this fellow in a brand new 911 TT by 6 seconds on a 45 FTD course
