most likely to specify which one is intake and which one is exhaust. generally blue is intake and red is exhaust, but you should double check.

Not necessarily. Usually the color is to determine intake/exhaust. Never judge them by the color paint on them. Some companies probably use similar colors.

Type R has yellow intake and Blue exhaust. GSR and B16's have Type R exhaust springs for the Intake side so the intake springs may be Blue on them?
