Hey guys, I have to sell my f2 converted to the f4i. If you need any help with the conversion I can still help. Just send me an email.
Make some offers.
This Bike is a 1991 cbr f2 600cc. It is fully custom. I built it 2 winters ago. The bike runs strong and is fast. It has f4i dual seats, tail, and undertail including integrated blinkers/taillights. It has a f4i Front stay, fairings, headlight and upper fairings. The seats are held on very securely I had to design all the mounts out of flat steel. It has F4i gauges That everything works except the speedo. I can tell you how to get them to work but havn’t had the time. The bike during the conversion was completely stripped down to the frame, painted and greased everything. It has gsxr rear passenger pegs. A D&D carbon fiber exhaust canister. The bike sounds real good. I have the bike set up to do a nice high mount exhaust with the can mounted inside the pegs but I never got an intermediate pipe bent to fit. I geared the bike as 2 up in the rear 1 down in the front. The bike has no problem picking the front wheel off the ground. The rear sprocket is an aluminum vortex. The chain is a RK 520 gold o-ring. The front one is a steel vortex. All three are new last year and have very little use. The header has been sanded, clean, and painted black with high temp paint. The regulator has been replaced with a much better than stock unit. The stock units are known to overheat. I have an extra black rear wheel I was planning on putting on. The bike was not stunted or wheelied by me. I rode it for around 2 months before I layed it down. I had no problems the entire time I rode the bike. Both tires have good tread. The bad...... The bike has been down since I did the conversion. And it is sold as is. It needs the brakes checked out, and needs a new radiator cap (and some work to where the cap goes.) and a battery. The right fairing is scraped up as in the pictures. I am including another right fairing but it needs holes drilled to fit the f2. Bike starts up and idles nicely. The fairings and headlight should be secured a bit more but they are good to ride. If you want to look at the bike it would have to be scheduled. I am down at school and not near the bike during the week. If you email me I will give you my phone number if you have anymore questions. All questions need to be asked before the action ends. A security deposit off $200 needs to be left the day the auction ends. And details can be made to pick up.
