its the same thing... you only pay for the name...

mugen S1 has more padding than the spoon though..

or get the generic one for less $ ... minus the name, blingage, and some weight difference..

there's no one size fits all seat, get some "Seat time" and that's the end of story.

You're going to buy a seat based on which has more bling? Also, get two of them. Are you actually tracking the car and need these or are you a hard parker?

*** Both Spoon and Mugen seats are like sitting on a park bench between to fat people. I've sat in both***
Spoon and Mugen prices arent all that crazy though. Recaro and Racetech seats are just as much. If you try to get a Memoryfab/F1spec seat that has been FIA certified the price jumps around the same as all the other big names. The best bang for your money is a sparco bucket. You can get an FIA certified seat for under $400

Sounds like you've never sat in either for an extended period of time? For a race bucket, which isn't supposed to be the most comfortable, both aren't bad at all. The price is worth it, IMO.

Spoon is higher quality. but you will pay for it through the nose. If you need a rail for the passenger side let me know. I can hook u up.
