wat i heard and saw.. i live in las vegas and there is 4 honda dealership and there is only 3 si (include sedan and coupe) wtf? i was trying to get a very low price for it,, but there is only 3 si in the whole city, i dont think they going to give me a low price,, my friend told me that they only ship 5 si to vegas each month,.. maybe he is lying..

i am thinking to buy a 08 lancer rather than a si, it look pretty hot + cheaper,,, just little too slow...

wat you guys think of the new lancer?

i think the new lancer look is so dam hot 2, i would buy the lancer if you can stand the slow speed

 

If you're going to buy a lancer, get an Evo. If you're going to buy a civic, get an Si. If you're going to buy a BMW 3 Series, get an M3.

See the trend? You WILL probably regret anything less.

And, you could always make the drive to Denver... I know a dealership that has 3 Si's right now, another that has at least 2.

 

If you can't get the civic for at least msrp then just buy it at a california dealer.

 

Go to Whitmier Auto in chico. I have purchased 3 cars from this dealer and they are very straight forward. Chico is like a 3 hour drive from you so email some Cali dealers and see what you can get. Saving a few grand would make the days trip worth it.

 

didn't know there was 4 honda dealerships, only know of 3 in vegas. desert and honda west both lick ***** and will rape you with markups and addons on their price. check out shack findlay, straight foward, no haggles AND no addons/markups. talk to the internet manager there, he's a real cool guy.

and like the guy up there said, if it is going to be a lancer, make it an evo.

If you look at the high model Lancers, not EVOs, they aren't that far off from an Si in price once you get some options. I really liked the SmartKey and 30GB music player options but they just didn't drive very nice and the interior seemed excessively cheap.

There are currently only 3 honda dealers in town, our new one will be opening this summer. We have a 4dr si with navi in stock right now. You will not pay a dime above sticker, if you go to shack findlay lemme know, ill set you up with my salesguy.

 

i work at burt kuni honda in denver and we have si's all the time right now we have 3 and we always get more they are 2 rallye red and one of those gold ones lol its probably because 6 people that work there drive an si and get discounts and eat em all up at my place lol

 

I live in SoCal and every dealership told me they each get only 2-3 per month. This is where the market is largest too.

 

and the lancer will be in the shop long after the warrenty is gone
they got them everywhere in WA. i havnt been to a dealer with out one. Except when they first released the SI to the public

my mom has a 2001 lancer ES before her 3 year warranty was up her car needed cam and crank sensors, new axles ... i could under stand if she drove like a maniac about the axles but she goes like 5 under the speed limit and dosent get there very fast. that was all customer pay WITH A WARRANTY. and no she was not out the mileage cuz theres only like 15 on it to this date.

also my bud has a 2006 Evo IX with 10k on the car 5 gear grinds so bad everytime and when he took it to the dealer they dont him evos dont have warrentys and that mitshubshi wont fix it. so he went to another dealer same story. and then he even went to one more and they dont him its gonna have to not even go in gear at all for them to fix it.


whats the point of buying a car for a company that wont honor there own warrenty???? so Mitshu

Chico a 3 hour drive from Vegas? I don't think so. I got my masters from Chico State University. It is more like an 8 hour drive.

Take trip to the Bay Area. The dealers here are swimming in SI's.
