please dont' flame or hate on me. a acquaintance (sp) of mine got a fixed up 1995 accord 4dr...and my friend says that there is a v6 in it.

now as far as my accord knowledge goes....i don't think there was a v6 for the 95 accords....but if im wrong...can ANYONE correct me. i thought that they only made v6's in the recent accords

There was. I remember because my mom bought a 95 EX coupe, and the salesman kept trying to push this V6 four door the whole damn time.

95 was the first year if I remember correctly.

 

yeah your right ... 95 was the first year for the V6 in a accord.

 

95-97 uses the old Legend motor...

 

the v6 was put in the engine bay by modding the front end...the front end on the 5th gen v6's is longer than the 4 cyl's...this is why the cf hoods and body kits mainly say 94-97 acoord (4 cyl. only)...i don't know if the same is true for the 6th gen front ends or not...

Yes, the V6 front end is 4" longer than the F22B_ front end...

 

nope...the 90-93 had the 4 cyl...and it was either 92 or 93 that the vtec head was an option...then in 94 (first year of 5th gens) they offered the 4 cyl. in vtec as well in the ex only and in 95, the v6 was an option...

Yep, V6 in a 95. I am an owner of one. Aftermarket sucks for it, ahh well, I am donw with the money pit.

 

will the Comptech supercharger fit a 95?

 

I dont think so. The aftermarket sucks for it because it was slower than an equally equipped accord that had a 4 cylinder with a 5 speed manual. My parents had a 1995 sage green LX V6 that they traded in for the 1999 Taffeta white EX V6 that I bought from them.

 

well damn...i got my friend with the 95 V6's hopes all up and stuff...ive been tellin him he should get it when it comes out...damn...ah well...

 

vtec didn't become available untill 1994 in the 5th gen EX

 

i'm pretty sure that at least 93's have the vtec...i could have sworn they did! but i could be wrong...

 

No VTEC in 92 or 93. 94 Vigors didnt even have VTEC.
