Okay I'm in the prcess of dropping a b16 into 90 hatch, go tthe the engine removed but I can't get the last bolt out of the rear engine mount any suggestions?

 

why cant u get it out? what happens when you try?
unbolt the mount from the sub frame

 

Think you need a 17 mm ratchet wrench if your lazy like me, but can be done with a regular open end box end.

 

Okay my fault my first entry here was kinda vague. The problem I'm having is with the tranny mount, I can't get to the rear bolt with any kind of tool and I'm thinking now that maybe I may need to drop the crossmember some so I can get to the bolt?

 

Just get one of those pivots for your socket, autozone has some cheapo one by their sockets. Stick the swivel end on the socket, stick an extention on the swivel and pop it out.

 

yeah that's what I was thinking.... but I wanted to avoid another trip to the store today..... ah well guess It's off to autozone again.......

 

the mount and the bracket are two diff pieces unbolt the mount first the unbolt the bracket
