Default Is it comfortable sitting in the s2000?

Iam thinking about an s2000. Very sexy I might say. I dont mind the 2 seater, I just wanted to know if its comfortable in there. Is there room in there to stretch? I am 5'8 around 165. I own a 99 civic and I love how I can move around with out bumping into ****. Do you have to get use to sitting in the s2000 or is it room and comfortable to begin with.

Yes, the interior of the S2K takes some a little time getting used to. Also, yes there is very little room to stretch for a driver and passenger over 6ft.

my first impression was from the passenger seat, i though i'll kill myself before driving it everyday.

i end up driving it everyday

seat are okay, the shape is not too aggressive so it fits pretty good from skinny japanese to fat **** husky american. sometime i wish they can be more aggressively shaped.

There's not much room in there, BUT, the seat is very comfortable. I can drive for 3 hours without having to stop. I couldn't do that before with any of my other Honda's.

Can't beat the 4 hour trip from West Palm to Key West with the top down on the overseas highway.

6'2" and plenty comfy, but it is a small cockpit compared to a civic etc.

I am a little more on the plus size at 210lbs 5'10"

And i dont really mind the seating. Long rides get a little stiff since there isnt much space to stretch, but that can be solved by taking a pit stop.

i drove the car 12hrs when i first bought it. and i cant really complain.

Its also my summer daily driver, so you get use to it.

Im about 6ft 185lbs and I have no complaints. It does take a little getting used to but I think the seats are very comfortable. After driving the s, getting in any other car feels weird. I drove my friends charger srt8 the other day and I felt like I was driving a semi.

I find the cockpit comfortable but then I'm a skinny guy. Or when I feel cramped, I just drop the top. It's more of a bitch to get in and out of, especially if you don't have much room to work with being parked in a narrow space or if you're on an incline.

FYI: AP2 seats are a little wider.

the s is comfy, but aggressive at the same time. like someone else stated, it does feel very much like a fighter jet cockpit(and yes, i sit in f/a-18 cockpits often). i'm pretty large, 6'1" 235 lbs., and it fits like a glove....but i never noticed a difference in room in my ap2 compared to my old ap1.

I'm 5'10" and about 125 or 130 when wet. Skinny yes. That's my weight reduction.

How old are you again?

Does the Mazda Eunos Roadster/Miata or the S600 that the S2000 was based on ring any bells?

I am about the same size as you. I would not call it cramped, but it can be kinda tight. Especially if you try to use the drink holder.LOL For me there is pleny of leg room though. I luv that car. I also have an EP3, going back and forth does not seem to be a noticable issue.
