Whats the lowest mile
Trending Topics
There's a 97 down in Maryland with 2,xxx miles on the clock. Even better, HT member Doostur says a buddy of his has a 97 and a 98 each with under 15 miles on em.

Why would some people buy a comic book, seal it in plastic, and box it away...
... or a baseball card, or any collectable? Me, I drive it like the toy I bought it as. But to each his own

Well, I'm certainly not going to bet money on it. Some people see it as a collectible and that's fine. Apparently this guy already had a nice little car collection. It's good to know that in 20-50 years, there will still be pristine examples of the Integra Type R. You don't have to drive "the **** outta" them all.

It might be the PY R that Honda has in there private collection somewhere in the US. http://cars.ign.com/articles/782/782425p1.html

The yellow R posted above is probably the lowest mileage R in Australia.
I think it's a shame it's being turboed though, I would have kept it close to stock as possible. At least the owner is a meticulous one

I've been paying attention to a tremendous amount of low mileage ITR's and there have been quite a FEW throughout the years.
From 2003 to present, here's what I can recall....
- An original PY just sold on eBay with 14k miles
- An original PY from last year with 17k miles
- A 97 in NC with 3k miles (still for sale supposedly)
- A 97 in Chicago with 19k miles
- A 98 in Chicago with 4k miles (sold twice recentlyon this board or itrca.com)
- A 98 from WA that created a lot of drama on here and itrca.com recently with ~2k miles
- An 01 NBP in Idaho at a dealership with 5k miles last year. Perfect condition.
- A 97 in which some kid's dad owned with less than <10k miles (I remember this from ~2+ years ago)
- A 01 NBP from Norcal listed on eBay with 20 (not 20,000), yes 20 original miles listed back in 2004. Either must've lived next to the dealership or had it trucked to his house. Owner wanted sticker for it.
- George Knighton's original 97 with 23 miles from a few years back with the window sticker still on it. I couldn't believe my what I was seeing when he listed the car for sticker.
- I hear from my buddy, there was a 97 on eBay in the past year or two that had 48 original miles and the owner wanted like $40-45k+ for it. Don't think it ever sold. Supposedly stored in a temp controlled environment
- A very LIGHTLY modded PY with less than 4 or 5k miles listed on eBay last year for I think close to $30k. I don't think it sold.
- A 97 listed back in 2004 with 3100 miles which was owned by someone that worked for Honda Corporate. The story behind the car was that it was a demo car used used by Honda corporate and was finally released after 7 years to one of the employees at corporate. Car was sold for $18k.
- A pair of PY's last year from a dealership in SoCal had one with 3k miles and another with 4k miles. Different vehicles. Both original and VERY clean.
Bottom line: There's PLENTY of super low mileage R's out there. You just have to be patient to find them... However, over the 4-5 years I've seriously been looking I can say it's getting harder and harder to find them especially 97's. I see 00-01's with less 20-25k miles every 2-3 months or so either posted here, autotrader, itrca.com, or eBay.
