I dunno, I think the best NA mod is a JRSC

why do N/A guys keep saying N/A is best...lol. Have you N/A guys actually driven a high horsepower F/I car. I think its personal preference, I mean everybody likes something different and its not just about going fast, its about building a car with personality that you are happy with. A car that you enjoy driving either N/A or F/I.
P.S. Boost is CRAZYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY....lol

yup, just a few
i find the driving experience and throttle response of my N/A far superior to force induction. if i wanted to go fast, i'd go boost. if i wanted to have fun, i'll stay N/A
this is all IMO of course

This is something I struggled with for a while deciding to turbo my R.
I used to have a turbo charged delsol B16A2.
I sold that to by my ITR and said I would never turbo charge it and stay NA.
I am in the process 'now' of turbo charging the R on stock internals.

ppl boost pretty much for straight line racing... but any car can be fast in a straight line. n/a is so sick when it comes to touge, road racing etc. even super charging is great too. i had a boosted gsr i regretted it. it was fun on the highway but out of control when i blasted out of corners due to wheelspin
I don't agree that throttle response is worse on boost. In fact I think that it's much better. It's a function of timing, fuel mapping and throttle tip in adjustments. You can get very crisp throttle response if you calibrate the ecu properly.
I bought my ITR new in the fall of '99, boosted it one year later in the fall of '00. Now it's coming up on 7 years running forced induction, I must say it's been a great learning experience and I have no regrets at all.
All I have to say is that the stock ring lands won't handle 300 whp forever. Mine lasted about 5 years. Now I'm on forged internals.

I've been on stock internals for about 10,000 miles on 8lbs. Motor has 74k now.
I been pretty mean to heR, but she's still strong
I'm sure i'll have to get forged internals soon.
I don't regret it one bit and she drives great through the curves. It's all in the tune.

I loved the high horsepower of a Turbo ITR but never could use it in town without pissing people off. Whats the point of speeding in highways with the turbo? Long story short, I blew up my motor, did an NA build that is as near quick as it was when it was turbo.
