I was wondering if anyone knows where i can get a good deal on a set.

i know a lot of people have hids in their fit but noone wants to help me out with any info?

Don't just throw in HID bulbs and expect things to look good.

i need more light output for back country roads at night. thats my main reason for em.

you don't wany anything approaching 12k. in fact, you don't want anything over 6k in my opinion. you can get HIDs from http://www.neverburnout.com -- i got them from there because of the lifetime warranty and customer service, but to each his own. oh yeah, they are plug and play.

like i said before 4300k is going to give you the most lumens if you're serious about hwo much light to get.

For best results get a retrofit done. Mine will be getting their work done starting next week.

I got my hids from hid-lights.com they have very good prices and i received mine in 4 days with the basic shipping. Hope this helps

well i beg to differ.....i just bought a hid kit from M-Tec.....the 6000k and i am extremely happy

they have a cutoff...not a colorfull one but a cutoff none the less.....it looks like the stock line

i will post pics one day when i get around to it

That's awesome that yours worked out. But you got lucky. It doesn't take much of a difference in bulb depth to completely throw the beam pattern out of whack. If you got some that work well, congratulations, but many won't get the same results if they just install something and hope it works well.
