Default Where did the Engine Rod go?

.....Its sittin in the hwy,

Well my friends del slow blew tonight.

Here are a couple pics,

my friends block from a few hours ago.

And what I found thru out his engine bay

He made it off 65 and into a gas station tho... see trail.

I say its still worth the $400 price tag it had.
Just needs an engine now.

Sucks becuase in the same night my Tread on my rear pass tire ripped off,
and my rings in mt JDM HMO swap is done. lasted a year.

Was going to say the same ???

What caused it ?

Lack of oil, over-reved, over heated ?

Those D16Z6 are usually pretty strong ?

I'm seen stock engine go, but never like that. I've seen turbo'ed cars do that but never a stockish D series...

I mean theres a big difference between a blown head gasket and a fisting hole in the block.

Its a D15B7 civic engine.

The last owner over heated twice and both time blew the headgasket becuase he forgot to put coolant back in.

I dont know what happned. He said he was just driving and then just all hell broke loose.

hes just trying to make a point that we know he has a motor swap, and that guy did something wrong to that car to make it do that period. Ive been around alot of blown motors/pos hondas, and in order for us to do that we had to peg rev limiter for about 10 minutes after getting a knock after starving the motor of oil and water.

jose did you do the essentials before you put your b16 in?.Even if it was from hmo id still do headgasket/plugs/plug wires/and since thats a b16 first gen im guessing it wouldnt hurt to do rings since its so old.Either way im sure your going to get it fixed.Besides that does the motor still run good? i want to order a motor from them as well
