more horse by taking vac. hoses off....

I am hearing from ppl that i can get 10-25 more horse by removing some vac. hoses.
is this right??? and if it is can someone help my find out how to do it? I have a 1990 Accord EX

Good lord, who told you that crap?

You could put every bolt-on you can find for that car and you probably won't get 10-25 hp.
