Default Ah finally, the sweet sound of VTEC

For a couple weeks my car has been running like crap, getting a check engine light for most of the settings i have done on my FPR, a little frustrated because it felt like whenever vtec engaged the car bogged and there wasnt much of a pull.

Well after a while i went to my mechanic friend and he suggested a low of 32 psi(yeah, i was really skeptical as hell) and work my way up, so after a while i went ahead and tune it up to 38, and wow, what a difference it made my car feel, pulls hard, vtec screams loud(aem intake) and very responsive

Just wanted to share with everyone how much i miss vtec pulling hard and loud, its like not having a daily dosage of it makes me have the blues but its all good now

Well at first i had it set at 46 psi, Check engine ran a code of 4-5 system too rich system too lean, and obviously it couldnt be system too lean so i kept on tuning it down 2 psi at a time, and everytime i reconnect the battery to reset ecu, Check engine light would come back on again after a day or two. After a bit i mention in my first post i set it at 32 psi, and no more Check Engine, but the car didnt have that VTEC Kick i was looking for.

So I turn the psi up a bit to 35, still felt the same but better till i got it to 38 psi, and i felt the difference there, vtec was loud, pulls hard, all in all i was one happy guy who didnt get his vtec

not really sure what you mean by "pinched" but i just put the vacuum line back into my fpr.
