paint chipp damm
dont feal bad! I had mine for a week and noticed about 5 or so chips on the front and side from road debrie. thay dont stay new for verylong. but on my next purchase I will buy the 3m paint protection film! I hear it work great!
Well I have had some paint chips, however today I was washing her up and I saw a weird mark on the front bumper. I just barely touched it to see what it was and the paint came right off, about the size of a half dollar or so. Luckily I work for Honda, So I will be getting a warranty front bumper paint job this week or next. The only problem is my HFP aero kit. I will have to get a new front clip, I will have to pull some seriously long strings to get that warrantied.
I find it odd that you guys have so many problems. I live out on the country, and for about a mile and a half it's just a rough, gravel road. My driveway is also about a 1/4 mile long of gravel. Got it in august of 06, 0 paint chips on it yet.

Honda has a lifetime a very long warranty on paint its like 80-100k, it does not cover chips however if there is a defect such as peeling or what happened to my car with bubbles they will cover it.
Its not gravel roads that hurt you so much as highway where the rocks are being thrown up at your car.
When I get my carbon fiber hood im going to have the 3m guard put on it, its like a clear tough adhesive they can put on, can be pricey but very worth the money, if you wanna check into I think like an autto-ameristar or ziebart places like that will have it.

from the sounds of it nothing. But even so touch-up paint in the nail polish style bottle is only 5 bucks, 10 bucks if it comes in the pen/marker style. At least thats what we sell it for.
The paint chips very easy on these cars.I have several small paint chips on my hood and fenders.I would guess when the hood looks to bad I will go with carbon.I have never seen paint chip this easy.I try to stay back from cars.My last GM car never got paint chips like this one does.
I live in a little town called Hilmar in CA, I know what shitty roads are, dirt back roads are and semis? Well I live in central Cali where we produce damn near everything... Corn, wheat, tomatoes, potatoes, we have lots of cows that are being trailered... The road I drive down every day (Lander) is the main route for all of these rigs as well as highway 99, a highway I drive daily as well... I see 20 over 50 rigs a day depending on how far I drive... You just gotta' be careful.

true dat.. I got a little over 5k miles on my car and had a rock jump up and hit the windshield on the freeway on Wednesday. Looked for a chip later that day, but didn't see one. The next day I found it. The little chip that ended up being between the wiper blades (tough to see) and also ended up splitting down to the seal on the bottom of the windshield and about 18 inches up. Now I get to shell out $600 for a new one
edit: at least 2 ft long now
